Open Research Communities
Communities can provide an invaluable source of peer-support. In addition to offering guidance materials, communities may offer training events, networking opportunities.
There are also opportunities to get involved and contribute directly to a healthier, more open research culture. This can include working with an initiative such as EORI, or perhaps starting a community within your own school, department or field of study.
EORI
The Edinburgh Open Research Initiative (EORI) is a grassroots community based at the University of Edinburgh working closely with the Open Research Team. In addition to various activities, EORI also runs the Edinburgh ReproducibiliTea sessions (which everyone is welcome to attend).
