Peer Community In (PCI) is a web platform facilitating community-based peer review. There are several subject-specific PCI's including Ecology, Mathematical & Computational Biology, and Archaeology. Preprints should first be submitted to a preprint repository, such as OSF Preprints, before peer review. Preprints accepted through PCI peer review can be submitted to the PCI Journal or a list of PCI-friendly journals.
OSF Preprints is a preprint platform hosted by Open Science Framework (OSF). Manuscripts from all research areas are accepted. All preprints receive a DOI and can be linked to OSF Projects and OSF Registrations. Preprints can be uploaded to OSF Preprints or a number of specialist preprint platforms hosted by OSF (listed on the OSF Preprints homepage). Some of the specialist platforms conduct pre-moderation to check the manuscript is within scope before preprints appear online.
